Students will model human efficiency and the cardiovascular system. The projects that SIP students take on provide students a sense of ownership of their work. Research Opportunities. The students who go through the program are known as “SARE Scholars”. Each summer, The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland host a cadre of medical students from across the country with support from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
